Liverpool social housing provider Plus Dane will continue to provide a range of specialist support services across Merseyside and Cheshire after securing three contract renewals.

These include homeless services as well as floating support and accommodation based housing support. In addition, its refugee resettlement service in Halton has been extended.

The housing association’s Floating Support services are available to all residents in the boroughs they serve, not specifically Plus Dane customers.

Plus Dane was one of three suppliers successful in its bid to provide accommodation-based housing support services to residents of Cheshire East Council until 2029. This deal is worth £600,000.

Its floating support services will continue to serve residents in Halton, with an extended provision that has seen staff from former partner organisation SHAP join Plus Dane. This is a £1m contract.

Plus Dane was also part of a successful consortium contracted to provide accommodation-based homeless services for Liverpool City Council. This ensures the continued operation of its 13-bed hostel Anne Conway House.

And an extension has been granted for Plus Dane’s refugee resettlement team to continue providing support in Halton for the next 12 months until the contract will go out to tender again.

Howard Cover, director of communities at Plus Dane, said: “These contract wins are testament to the proven quality of the support we have been able to provide to people in need in the communities we serve.

“It means a great deal to us that we have been trusted to continue our work in this area, both for those who need our services and, as an employer, in being able to retain the fantastic colleagues we have in our highly-skilled in-house teams.”
