National property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has opened a new office in Liverpool Waters – its first base in the city.

LSH employs 1,000 people across 29 UK offices and has had a presence in Manchester for several years. Opening the new office at No 10 Princes Dock will extend its reach in the North West.

Princes Dock will accommodate the LSH residential team – alongside other sector specialists. The firm’s services to property owners, investors, and occupiers include sourcing, planning, funding, advising, managing, valuing, and selling properties.

A key factor in LSH’s decision to locate at Princes Dock was that all the commercial space at No 8, No 10 and No 12 Princes Dock has been verified net zero for several years running.

By the end of 2024 they will become the first commercial office buildings in Liverpool to connect their heating and hot water supply to the new Mersey Heat network, a district heat network and energy centre.

Paul Noble, managing director for LSH Residential, added: “Liverpool is a key market for us, and establishing a dedicated office here allows us to better serve our clients in the city and surrounding areas.

“Princes Dock offers the perfect environment for our growing LSH Residential team, with its vibrant community, great facilities and the very best low carbon energy infrastructure. We are excited to be an active part of this thriving neighbourhood.”

LSH joins a number of other businesses at Princes Dock, including KPMG, Henry Bath, and Rider Levett Bucknall. New tenants within the last year include global gaming company Dev House UK and digital signing firm E-Sign.

Liza Marco, senior asset manager at Liverpool Waters, added: “Our sustainability credentials, including our net zero status and the new Mersey Heat district heating network, were a key part of their decision to locate their new office at Princes Dock.”
