Law firm Napthens is relocating its office within Bruntwood SciTech’s The Plaza, taking a 10-year lease on 5,000 sq ft of office space.

This move to a bigger suite to accommodate the growth in headcount at the firm which now employs 34 people – 20% higher than 18 months ago. This includes an eight-strong corporate team led by respected corporate partner Kieran Donovan.

It also offers other practice areas including commercial property, employment, commercial litigation together with a full family and private client offering including wills, probate and residential conveyancing.

Preston-based Napthens opened its Liverpool office in 2018 with well-known local lawyer Gareth McIntegart, who continues to work with the firm. In the first year revenues totalled £640,000. In the current financial year this is forecast to hit around £3m.

Kieran Donovan said: “The move to larger premises with a long-term commitment in the heart of the commercial business district demonstrates our confidence in the Liverpool city region economy.

“We have grown significantly over the past two and a half years and our new office will enhance our ongoing support to our clients helping them achieve their strategic objectives.

“The growth of our Liverpool office is as a key pillar to the firm’s strategy to be one of the most innovative and fastest growing law firms across the North West, retaining and attracting the best talent to allow us to deliver class leading legal services to our clients.”
