M&Y Maintenance and Construction is to deliver works to more than 850 homes for Wirral Methodist Housing Association.

A division of the Regenda Group, M&Y will carry out a range of response repairs, void works and planned works in the £1.3m deal that lasts until 2027. At that point there will be an option to extend for a further two years.

Wirral Methodist Housing Association (WMHA) has been providing housing in Wirral and Ellesmere Port since 1964. Its portfolio includes houses, flats, supported accommodation, sheltered accommodation and shared ownership.

For M&Y Maintenance and Construction, the new contract adds to the extensive portfolio of social housing maintenance and construction contracts, which has properties across the North West.

M&Y offers extensive experience in social housing. WMHA says it was looking for a single contractor with significant experience of delivering core services and works to a high standard, at rates that reflect value for money.

Kevin Moses, M&Y operations director said: “We are delighted to be working with Wirral Methodist Housing Association to deliver these much-needed services for their residents.

“M&Y pride ourselves in our customer focus and social value in the work we provide. We’re pleased that we scored highly in customer focus and value for money and look forward to delivering the contracted works.”
