I started my career in Financial Services and progressed through the ranks quickly. I held the position of Head of Operations for many years and had responsibility of multiple sites. During my career I have worked for several multi-national corporate organisations such as Barclays, RSA, Zurich, and Hiscox. I have specialised in Strategic Leadership, Transformational Change and Nurturing and Developing Leaders for the future. I have a proven track record for creating high performing sales teams and delivering innovative business and cultural change projects. I’m experienced Operations and Transformational Change Specialist with extensive exposure to Retail, Banking and Insurance, with a proven track record in the delivery of innovative business and cultural change projects. I am an experienced influencer with excellent stakeholder management & communication skills. A strategic thinker, with the ability to bring organisational change to life. I Thrive on delivering in a fast-paced environment and with ease, build strong teams who deliver over and above expectations, all within the rules of governance. I became a self-employed in 2016 and have worked successfully with several clients on large transformational change programmes, taking leading roles in Cultural Change and Leadership Development initiatives. I have successfully managed Projects from the diagnostic stage through to post Implementation review and have a record for delivering great results. Becoming a contractor provided both breadth and depth in terms of experience and a great platform to build and share best practices. Following the start of the pandemic in March 2020 I made the decision to return to permanent employment and started my journey with Hiscox. Despite the obvious challenges of remote working, developing a team and transitioning through change ‘remotely’, I exceeded both commercial and leadership expectations and have continued to grow the Northwest Region. Which, onleaving was +10% Vs PY. I have a broad network and have developed excellent commercial relationships with both National and Independent brokers. I believe that trust, relationships, and a partnership approach have been the key to the success of the Northern Region and underpins the results achieved.
