Liverpool Hospitality Association says its People Awards, which celebrate individuals working in hospitality and retail, will return for 2025. Tony McDonough reports
Liverpool Hospitality Association is inviting entries for the Liverpool Hospitality People Awards 2025.
Organised in association with Saffron Vanilla and Liverpool ONE, the People Awards celebrate the talented individuals in Liverpool’s hospitality and retail sector. The awards ceremony will be held at the Titanic Hotel’s Rum Warehouse on Thursday, May 22.
This year’s event will feature 17 categories including ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Unsung Hero’, awards for customer-facing staff and those working behind the scenes. The Judges and Chairman’s awards aren’t open for entries but will recognise “inspirational figures”.
Steven Hesketh, vice-chair of Liverpool Hospitality Association, said: “The People Awards give us a chance to highlight the exceptional individuals and teams who fuel our industry’s resilience and innovation whilst raising vital funds for some great charities.

“These awards are not just a recognition but a celebration of the heart and soul of Liverpool’s hospitality and retail industry and we hope as many businesses as possible will make a nomination.”
Both local and national charities are supported by the awards with all proceeds raised being shared with national industry charity Hospitality Action, and a local charity, which will be announced before the awards. Last year, the awards raised £30,000.
Applications are now open, with submissions being welcomed until 5pm on Friday, March 8. Both members and non-members of the Liverpool Hospitality Association are encouraged to enter.
