Liverpool city region firms dominate awards

A national awards to celebrate the construction and property sectors is dominated by Liverpool city region developers, suppliers, an investment specialist, an energy venture and a law firm. Tony McDonough reports

Liverpool city region firms have scooped multiple accolades at a national awards celebrating the construction and property sectors.

Broadcaster Kate Garraway hosted the Sunday Express Construction and Property Awards which were held in Manchester. But it was Liverpool city region that stole the show.

Property developer of the Year was Legacie which has delivered multiple schemes in Liverpool and across the North West. Its Parliament Square scheme was Development of the Year while founder John Morley was named Male Property Champion of the Year.

Jarron Developments won two awards – Build-to-Rent Developer of the Year and Property Deal of the Year for its Liverpool development Metalworks.

Liverpool building firm Frank Rogers won the Barratt Redrow Outstanding CSR Award while Bootle window and door manufacturer Warwick North West shared the Outstanding Supplier of the Year Award with Wickes.

Another Liverpool developer, Nexus Residential was named Residential Property Developer of the Year, Liverpool law firm MSB shared the Legal Team of the Year Award with Ai Law. RW Invest scooped Investment Agency of the Year while Next Energy Solutions won the Retrofit Project of the Year.

In a post about its award Warwick North West said: “Surrounded by so many brilliant businesses and hosted by the fantastic Kate Garraway – it was definitely an incredible night of celebration for team Warwick.”

And Frank Rogers posted: “This is a real testament to the impact of the Frank Rogers Foundation and the commitment of our team to giving back to the communities we work in.”

Speaking about his double win, Will Clarke, development director at Jarron Developments, said: “This double award win is more than industry recognition – it’s a signal of what’s possible when you combine bold design, meticulous delivery, and a genuine commitment to creating places people want to live.”
