Liverpool bottled water brand Win Win Water says it is set to announce distribution deals with supermarkets and cafe chains in the next few weeks.

Ahead of its official launch Win Win Water has already pre-sold 4m bottles and wants to get this to £10m in 2025. The venture has also secured investment from rappers Krept & Konan and the support of Dragon’s Den Austria’s Heinrich Prokop.

Win Win Water, created by friends Kurt Wilson and Josh Daley. Kurt is already well-known in Liverpool for his successful juice business. They claim the bottles are “completely biodegradable, earth-friendly and non toxic”.

They are made out of plant-based materials and the water inside is sourced from The National Forest UK and Austrian Mountains. It is naturally alkaline and high in electrolytes and minerals.

Kurt says he was searching for an alternative to standard plastic bottles. After identifying the right material, he found it wasn’t available in mass production. With Josh and a group of 10 other friends they came together to create the brand more than three years ago.

Having recently crowdfunded to raise money to push the product, Kurt and Josh took to LinkedIn to share their fundraising efforts where Konan of British rap duo Krept & Konan saw the posts and reached out.

After a Zoom call the following day, Krept & Konan have now invested an undisclosed sum and will help to communicate the benefits of Win Win Water.

Heinrich Prokop, who came across the brand at the International Food Expo, has also offered his support and, as a result, Win Win Water has secured orders into central Europe.

Kurt said: “For the last five years, I’ve been researching toxin-free, biodegradable bottles and myself and the team are immensely proud of how far we’ve come with Win Win Water.

“A bottle that has zero fossil fuels unlike plastic and cans, it’s 100% plant-based and fully biodegradable; something we feel is absolutely paramount for both the planet and people.

“While plastics take 500 years to degrade and form toxic forever chemicals, Win Win Water’s has zero toxins which means zero forever micro plastics which is much better for our health.

“Our aim is to swap out 10m plastic bottles with Win Win Water across both the UK and Europe in 2025 and we’re confident with the backing of both Heinrich Prokop and Krept & Konan we’ll be able to achieve that.”

Josh Daley says the water is currently available through the website, Sugar & Lime Distribution in Liverpool and Zepbrook distribution in the south.

He added: “We’re very excited to share that several supermarkets and huge cafe chains will be announced in the coming weeks.

“We have pre-sold 4m bottles ahead of pre-launch and know that this innovative product will change the way we drink water forever.”
