Estate and lettings agency Curlett Jones Estates is continuing on its rapid expansion push and is set to open a fifth outlet just four years after launching.

Life partners Peter Curlett and Alan Jones, who are now operations director and managing director respectively, defied the COVID pandemic to open their first branch in Lord Street in Southport in August 2020.

While Southport remains the Curlett Jones head office, a further three branches have been added to its business portfolio in the last 12 months with new openings in Waterloo, Newcastle, and Cardiff.

In the past 12 months staff numbers have more than doubled to 16 and the venture is set to open an office in Liverpool city centre in the next six months.

“At a time of challenging economic times, we are extremely proud of this unprecedented growth opening new branches, creating jobs, and winning industry awards,” said Alan Jones.

“We have recruited a hard-working, engaging, brilliant team who go above and beyond for our clients – and we are excited for the next phase in the development of Curlett Jones Estates.”

Curlett Jones’ focus in Southport includes high-end serviced accommodation and holiday lets. It also offers sales, lettings, and block management. Peter and Alan say the firm’s growth has “exceeded all expectations”.

It is also taking its commitment to the wider community seriously. A sponsor of Sefton Pride since the event was created in 2023, the business was headline sponsor for Sefton Pride 2024.

Apprentices at Curlett Jones have become full-time staff members and there have also been promotions. Chloe Roberts moves from branch manager to property director and has appointed Laura Howard as marketing and creative director.

Alan Jones added: “At a time of challenging economic times, we are extremely proud of this unprecedented growth opening new branches, creating jobs, and winning industry awards.

“We have recruited a hard-working, engaging, brilliant team who go above and beyond for our clients – and we are excited for the next phase in the development.”

Peter Curlett also said: “It has been an incredibly exciting 12 months for Curlett Jones Estates, a whirlwind in fact. Business growth, three new offices, expanding the team, and key industry awards success – these are huge developments for the company.”
