Building firm Frank Rogers Building Contractors is enjoying a growing reputation for heritage and conservation projects with a growing portfolio of work across some of the North Westโs most iconic buildings.
Following the successful delivery of a complex internal refurbishment at the Victoria Gallery & Museum (VGM) on the University of Liverpoolโs city centre campus, Frank Rogers has now been appointed to carry out the refurbishment of the historic Leggate Lecture Theatre โ a Grade II-listed space first opened in 1892.
It completed high-spec works across several areas of the VGM, including damp remedials, redecoration of heritage finishes, and the installation of new air conditioning and fire alarm systems โ all within a live, listed environment.
However, this is just one of several high-profile heritage projects the company has delivered in recent years.
These include major internal and external works at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, the highly acclaimed restoration of the Welsh Presbyterian Church in Waterloo, and the recent refurbishment of St Lukeโs Church in Widnes.
The firm is also on-site at two listed buildings in Warrington, converting them into office space, and has recently transformed two listed city centre buildings in Liverpoolโs Ropewalks and Lord Nelson Street into modern commercial and residential units.
