Liverpool city region lighting manufacturer Trojan Lighting Solutions is expanding into Europe after exceeding the £5m annual milestone. Tony McDonough reports
St Helens lighting manufacturer Trojan Lighting Solutions is to open its first European office, in Arnhem in the Netherlands.
Trojan, which has just broken through the £5m annual turnover barrier, was founded in Rainford in 2022. It specialises in LED lighting integrated with intelligent controls wit customers in sectors including healthcare, education, retail, and commercial.
Its expertise extends to lighting remanufacturing and retrofitting, offering upgrades that significantly reduce energy consumption, operational costs, and carbon footprints.
Now it has identified significant demand for its products in Europe and the new Dutch base will serve as a central hub for its expansion into key markets. Industry veteran Jac van Megen will lead Trojan Lighting Europe.
“Trojan Lighting has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable lighting solutions in the UK,” said Jack.
“I am excited to lead the European expansion, bringing Trojan’s innovative products and services to a market that values energy efficiency, smart technology, and tailored solutions.”
