Financial advisory firm Sedulo launches new women’s networking group at Liverpool event. Tony McDonough reports
A new women’s networking group has been launched with the aim of “driving meaningful conversations and initiatives for gender equality in the workplace”.
Setting the Table was established at an event in Liverpool with financial advisory firm Sedulo partnering with recruitment company Adaptable on the initiative.
This event, held at Sedulo’s Liverpool office, brought together female business leaders from across the country, as well as a panel of experts, to discuss and champion the role of women in the workplace.
A panel discussion hosted by Sedulo managing director Cathryn Wright included Zeri Cheetham-Karcz, iGD Sport brand director and Waterloo Road actress, BBC presenter Jacey Normand and business development and marketing consultant Louise Garforth.

“Sedulo and Adaptable have always been aligned in championing women in the workplace,” said Cathryn.
“Setting the Table will regularly create spaces where women and their allies can share networks, experiences, and challenges to create more inclusive and collaborative working environments for everyone.
Setting the Table will serve as a recurring platform for fostering collaboration, networking, and growth among women and their allies in business.
In 2021, Sedulo invested £1.4m setting up an operation in Liverpool. It now has offices across the UK and is on target to hit in excess of £20m in revenue this year, 30% higher than 2023.
