Seven luxury apartments in a converted Edwardian Mansion in Wirral have gone on the market

Developer Lagom Lifestyle has completed the £4m conversion of Hilstone Grange, close to the Royal Liverpool golf course at Hoylake and offering views across the Dee Estuary to North Wales.

With a starting price of £485,000, each of the apartments offers open plan living space with a kitchen, bathroom, a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, as well as a second bedroom.

Ground floor apartments come complete with a private garden area while those on the second floor have balconies overlooking Royal Liverpool Golf Club, which has often hosted the Open Championship, and the Dee Estuary.

Located in Stanley Road, a residential area leading to Red Rocks nature reserve and beach, the period property was originally built as a family home more than a century ago. Lagom has renovated the property while retaining original features.

Main entrance and reception area has original oak doors and panelling, decorative tiled flooring and a stained glass window, flooding the space with natural light and colour.

A chandelier adorns the sweeping hand turned staircase, which has been brought back to its former glory, along with the mansion’s deep carved skirting boards and architraves.

Lagom Lifestyle’s Agata Seara said: “Hilstone Grange is steeped in history and our team has worked incredibly hard to reflect the architectural charm of the mansion house by restoring many of its original features.

“As Hilstone Grange prepares to welcome its next set of residents, we’re extremely proud to have played such an important part in writing a chapter in the story of such an incredible property.

“Introducing elements of contemporary design, whilst preserving the heritage of the building, our team has tastefully reimagined this magnificent Edwardian mansion to suit modern day living.”
