Law firm Brown Turner Ross (BTR) has opened a new Merseyside office.

Headquartered in Southport with an office in Liverpool city centre, BTR now occupies a building in Elbow Lane in Formby that was previously home to Formby Law.

This expansion will see the BTR team grow by 25% from 40 to 50 employees across all departments with plans for additional recruitment. Further investment will also be made in technology to update and streamline client systems and services.

BTR offers a range of legal services including commercial and residential property, corporate, civil litigation, divorce, wills, trusts, probate, employment law and housing disrepair. It is in Lord Street in Southport and the Cotton Exchange in Liverpool.

Managing director, Sam Bushell said “This is an exciting opportunity for Brown Turner Ross to offer a personal and comprehensive service to the community of Formby and surrounding areas.

“Formby is a thriving town which is embracing development and has a diverse population of more than 24,000 inhabitants.
