Shipping movements on the Mersey today, include:

New Liulinhai, a bulk carrier carrying biomass (woodchips) from the US. Agent is Peel Ports Logistics.

Amelie Borchard, a container vessel coming from Egypt and sailing on to Cyprus. Agent is Borchard Lines.

Bolette, a cruise vessel coming from Portugal and sailing on to Iceland. Agent is Denholm Port Services.

Celandine, a cargo vessel coming from and returning to Ireland. Agent is CLdN Ro Ro.

Birkenhead to Belfast: Stena Edda will depart the Twelve Quays terminal at 10.30am. Stena Embla will depart at 10.30pm.

Liverpool to Dublin: Seatruck vessels will sail from Brocklebank Dock at 3.30am, 9.30am, 5.30pm and 8.30pm.

Liverpool to Isle of Man: Manannan will depart the Isle of Man Terminal at 7.15pm.

High tides: 5.15am (7.02m) and 6.11pm (7.02m)

Low tides: 12.13pm (3.47m) and 1.06am Friday (3.65m)

Sunrise: 6.41am

Sunset: 7.34pm
